South Congress, affectionately known as "SoCo" here in Austin, fuels Austin's creative side, featuring a hot bed of local boutiques, organic, natural and gourmet eateries, coffee shops, and creative hair salons.  With a view straight to the capital, many feel that this area personifies the "Keep Austin Weird" mantra that has landed Austin on the list of "most desireable places to live" for several years now. 

A few years after Austin became convinced that "SoCo" was a good thing, the trend continued and the most traveled on road through the center of Austin, South Lamar, became, "SoLa."  Similar to "SoCo," this area offers its residents and friends a trendy, funky, and truly Austin place to call home.
